Community events in Wembley

We are delighted to hold various events that we invite our families to join us for. In the past, we have held events such as diverse cultural celebrations Christmas, Diwali, Black History Month, Chinese New Year, and Eid. We invite parents to join our fun events such as annual trips, sports day, Father's Day, Mother's Day, cooking competitions, and coffee mornings.

Recent Events

Black History Month

St. Nicholas Nursery, Kingsbury, hosted an event in honour of BHM, attended by Mayor of Brent, Orleen Hylton. Children performed using traditional African instruments and heard stories from nursery parents which delivered inspiring and ambitious messaging surrounded Black History.

Ms Anjana Shah, manager of St. Nicholas Nursery; ‘St. Nicholas Nursery’s Black History celebration was a testament to the power of education, music, and unity. It left an indelible mark on all those present, reminding everyone that understanding and celebrating our shared history enriches us all. This celebration will undoubtedly be remembered as a highlight of the year, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural appreciation that will last a lifetime.’

Diwali

The nursery was buzzing with excitement as the pre-schoolers put on a fantastic performance for parents and the younger children impressed with their dance moves. There was traditional music and children were offered to try some authentic Diwali celebration food, a highlight was the rangoli musical chairs for sure!
