We provide a marvelous start to a child’s education. Our children are taught by experienced practitioners, who are wholeheartedly committed to giving each child the opportunity to maximize their potential through small groups and a varied curriculum. In addition it is important that the ethos of the nursery reflects the moral values which Britain and our community intends to promote.  We actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. It is our intention that these values determine behavior throughout the Center with adults, young people and children in an age appropriate way.

Values to include:

  • Telling the truth
  • Respecting the rights of individuals
  • Respect for different faiths and beliefs
  • Acting considerately towards others
  • Taking personal responsibility for one’s actions
  • Self discipline
  • Sharing and taking turns
  • Inclusion

Our aims are to:

  • To provide a safe, happy, caring, stimulating and secure environment for our children where everyone feels valued, included and respected
  • To engage our children in the highest-quality teaching and learning and to maximise success for all
  • To create a nursery which feels like home and to provide an extended family environment
  • To develop a shared vision for the future of St.Nicholas nursery
  • To foster high-quality leadership at all levels
